Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Tasks

-Supports Quality Control and Validation during project. -Participates in Tender clarification meetings and package Kick off Meetings; -Monitors quality control inspections, 3rd party inspections, interface system wide contractor inspections and participate in testing and commissioning; -Manages Defect Liability upon demobilization from project site; -Supports in Projects Proposal and corporate presentation; -Reviews method statement and prepare acceptable inspection and test plan, manage the day-to-day Project QC Team activities; -Coordinates with Client Walkdown Coordinator to ensure system walkdown activities are executed on schedule in accordance to Project & Client requirements. Assists Asia Technical Quality Manager, to improve project quality standards of regional projects in-line with corporate quality policies; -Manages Project System Markup and System List; -Establishes, implements and manages training plan for project personnel; -Tracks status of handover and turnover in the manner of a matrix; -Establishes Project handover mechanism and Dossier turnover methodology; -To mentor the Quality Assurance Engineers to undertake the tasks assigned; -Performs internal and external audits, in corporate level; -Manages Engineering Observation and Non Conformance to ensure timely closure; -ISO Lead Auditor, support the continued success of the corporate QMS; -Coordinates with various tertiary institutions for industrial attachment program; -Provides standard operating procedures which govern all phases of project lifecycle; -Generates audit plans and conduct internal audits on overseas projects; -Involves in Supplier Qualification Audits; -Supports and advice on Quality-related issues and resolutions of “Engineering-related disputes” during the lifespan of the Project; -Resolves construction issues, towards the benefit of project progress to the accepted grade level; -Inspects construction work and ensure material and workmanship compliance; -Supports Hook Up installation and Handover activities; -Responsible for quality management and highlighting potential re-work area to Project Manager; -Reports Quality related Site Observation report (SOR), Engineering observation report (EOR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and support project QM on major issues, where directed. -Participates in Risk management review (HAZOP); -Implements and controls testing by means of testpacks tracking and witness testing and review construction reports/testpacks submitted by contractors; -Conducts Contractor QA/QC weekly meeting; -Monitors status of contractors’ submission of Quality documents and review and approval of Contractors’ ITP, PQP and other quality related document for project; -Generates audit plan and conducts internal audits on project team and surveillance audit on contractors; -Assists Exyte Head of Quality Management, Compliance & Validation, to draft and implement corporate procedures; -Coordinates with client representatives as delegated to obtain approval on phases of work;

What You Bring

-Diploma holders with additional 2 - 3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications -Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office application -Highly proficient in communication -6 - 8 years working experience in Qualification function preferably in ATF, LSC and DTC industries -Able to impact and influence -Cross culturally aware and adaptable -Able to function as project quality representative and contribute immensely in risk and technical avenues; -Minimum years of experience: -Understanding of change control work flow and documentation control work flow -Understanding of Engineering documents and drawings -Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical), Science & Technology or equivalent -Being assertive and confident -Good negotiation skills -1 - 2 years additional experience for each higher grade of progression
