Shipping Associate - 1st Shift

Overview

Operate forklift to ship, receive, and package catalyst parts, handling loads up to 50 lb.

Tasks

-Perform catalyst finishing procedures -Read and interpret part drawings -Load and unload trucks -Package finished catalyst product for both parcel and truck shipments -Learn and execute Shipping/Receiving process -Move parts and pallets as needed for Fabrication, Welding, and Shipping/Receiving

What You Bring

-Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time -Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision -Understand and interact with job tracking system -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift -Use forklift -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. -Knowledge of shop layout, parts locations, bin system -Experience loading flatbed trucks -Knowledge of safe workplace practices -Strong Experience with a forklift -Ability to handle metal parts and insulation and be physically sound for repetitive bending and lifting -High School Diploma -Good dexterity of hands -Excellent verbal communication skills -Ability to count, calculate, read warehouse map with bin locations -Previous experience in shipping and Receiving
