Overview
Manage contracts, health & safety, budgeting and coordination for civil engineering projects.

Tasks
-Liaise with Directors, Safety Advisors, Quantity Surveyors and Engineers to ensure effective coordination and achievement of project deliverables. -Chair and attend internal and external pre-start, progress, commercial, and HSEQ meetings. -Prepare and update detailed programmes of work and communicate with site teams and head office to ensure timely delivery. -Identify and fulfil resource and procurement requirements, maintaining budgetary control. -Set the highest leadership standards in promoting Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) best practices. -Lead weekly reviews on progress, safety, budgets, and planning with project teams. -Provide clear communication, mentorship, and structured reviews to all teams under management. -Build and maintain strong relationships with client delivery and leadership teams.

What You Bring
-Proven experience in a Contracts or Senior Site Management role within groundworks or civil engineering -IT literate, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook -Experience operating as a Contracts Manager or Project Lead for large-scale housing or infrastructure developments -NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management (or equivalent) -CSCS Black Card -Strong understanding of NHBC, LABC, and equivalent standards -Excellent time management and interpersonal skills -Competent in Microsoft applications, including Project or similar programming software -Collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance -NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Senior Construction Management
