Overview

Operate drilling equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

Tasks

-Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path -Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks -Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance -Perform work in all weather conditions -Utilize “Mud” mixing systems -Determine bore path and locate utilities -Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds -Develop and maintain a bore schedule

What You Bring

-High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience -Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it -Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse -Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record -To be 18 years of age or older -Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes -Authorization to work in the United States for this company
