Overview

Inspect welding, steel fabrication and related work at off‑site bridge shops.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications -Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers -Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials -Production of daily written shop reports

What You Bring

-Strong verbal and written communication skills -Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication. -AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience. -AWS Certified Welding Inspector -Minimum years of experience: 3 -Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications -Coating Inspection experience -Must be able to work well independently and with others -Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication. -Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT).
