Senior Track and Civil Engineer

Description

• Ensure compliance with all mandatory systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with ARTC’s Safety Management System (SMS) and
• Ensure that policies and procedures that relate to human resource management and work health safety and welfare are effectively applied in line with Just and Fair Culture.
• Ensure ARTC’s safety and commercial interests are appropriately protected.
• Ensure field works are undertaken in accordance with ARTC policy, procedures and standards.
• Ensure fair and equitable workplace practices and behaviours are complied with, creating a discrimination free workplace in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Promote a safety culture within the team to conform to current work. Health and Safety (WH&S) and relevant rail safety legislation.
• Ensure the standard of track and infrastructure s continually at a fit for use level.
• Railway safe working systems, principles and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Qualification or relevant experience with non-destructive testing methods.
• Knowledge of rail safety management principles.
• Experience in the management of safety.
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, and or relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Australian standards for track infrastructure including the railway National Code of Practice.
