Tasks

-Research, recommend, and advise on solution development. -Document system processes, highlevel system workflows, and identify the core functional requirements for signoff by the Project/Team Lead. -Assist with daytoday operational issues, including providing level 2 support at the application level to direct line users of our software. -Define the functional needs as Epics within GitLab for signoff with the Scrum Master/Project Lead/Manager/Director Software Solutions. -Support the development and participate in user acceptance testing/pilot activities to confirm and improve the user experience. -Combine your experience with business analysis, systems analysis, and Project Management disciplines to perform the following activities: Partner with business analysts to conduct stakeholder workshops to drive agreement first on the business needs before soliciting the highlevel system requirements. -Provide the voice of the IT operations user. -Develop process models, use cases, wire flows, block flows, process flow diagrams, and descriptions, and other project deliverables using a variety of tools including Confluence, Jira, GitLab, or Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. -Assist with solution assessment and selection documentation. -Scope the highlevel system requirements and formulate an agile (managed change) solution delivery plan with both the BA/SDL/Project Lead and Technical Team Lead/Technical Team Manager. -Help facilitate and coordinate any SMD, patching, updates, planned outage message communications directly with our business partners. -Ensure that any solutions built align with the Audit, IT Service Desk, IT Support, and IT Change Management requirements. -Collaborate with Business Analysts in both IT and the business to build an understanding of the business needs and agreed requirements. -Collaborate with business analysts in other business domains (Finance, IT, Payroll, Project Delivery, Project Accounting, Marketing) to ensure crossfunctional requirements and impacts on other stakeholders are taken into consideration. -Provide a first point of escalation for developers on a project to ask questions underpinning an agreed deliverable. -Ensure that the solution provided aligns with business practice needs/requirements and policy documentation. -Analyse and solicit understanding of any current state solutions that meet or partially meet the business need, identifying functional gap analysis and pain points, and both solicit, capture, and agree on the system requirements that would meet the business requirements.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. -Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and support. -Adhere to Software Solutions solution delivery process and IT Change Management practices. -5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within custom software or technology environments. -Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities to engage technical and nontechnical stakeholders at all levels of the organization. -Proficient in writing and maintaining user documentation using HTML and Markdown. -Experience with wireframing and prototyping. -Experience using mind mapping tools to visually organize ideas, document systems, and facilitate collaborative planning. -Proficient in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for development teams. -Proficient in eliciting and documenting business requirements, system requirements, business processes, and data flow diagrams. -Understanding of business processes related to ERP systems including but not limited to Human Resources, Finance, Project Accounting and Project Management -Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), business process modeling, and systems development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly within custom software environments.
