Tasks

-Trains Technician Trainees as assigned -Provides documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required -Follows up to ensure that suggested repairs to systems are performed -Completes all services following manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies and procedures -Schedules inspections with customers as required -Adheres to ALL Company Standards and Procedures, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard -Communicates discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to the Company and the customer -Performs installation, programming, repair, testing, and inspection of fire detection and signaling systems on a scheduled basis -Markets EFI services to existing and potential customers

What You Bring

-Completes continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for position -Excellent customer service skills -Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record -Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, work from heights above 10 feet, and work in confined areas -Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pul -Positive and professional demeanor with the ability to handle change, resolve conflict, and solve problems as they arise with minimal direction -IDEALLY CERTIFIED OR CAPABLE: EST 3 OR 4 Certified -Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
