Overview

Manage nuclear plant upgrade projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, stakeholder coordination.

Tasks

-Conduct weekly meetings, coordinate project activities, source vendors, and initiate and manage contracts. -Monitor financials, escalate concerns, and ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. -Conduct field/plant observations and collaborate with internal stakeholders. -Engage in risk management and present proposals to gain necessary approvals for authorization. -Coordinate with stakeholders on-site and interface with the maintenance organization and engineering department to implement projects.

What You Bring

-PMP certification is strongly preferred. -Ex-Navy (submarine/navy) nuclear experience is preferred if no commercial experience. -Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred. -5-7 years of cradle-to-grave project management experience on projects of at least $1MM. -Civil or construction experience is a plus. -Nuclear is strongly preferred. -SRO certification or license from a plant knowledge perspective is beneficial. -Familiarity with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera.
