Senior Proposal Manager – Strategic Pursuits

Tasks

-Review tender requirements and develop clear guidance to enable Proposal Writers to write content that resonates with the client. -Undertake final review of our written proposal to ensure it is compliant with the tender requirements and style guide, is consistent across deliverables, and is free from errors. Manage the production of the final written proposal for submission. -Facilitate storyboarding sessions with stakeholders to brainstorm and prioritise compliant and compelling content. Oversee development of Content Plans for review prior to investment in development of full drafts. -Develop plans for delivery of written proposal deliverables including responses to technical questions, CVs, and case studies. -Oversee production of written content through the stages of development and review as prescribed in our win work process. -Mobilise, brief, and manage the input Proposal Writers to develop compelling and compliant content. -Work with our Creative Design team to develop a compelling brand for our written proposals that will resonate with the client. Manage the input of creative resources to produce visual content for inclusion in our proposals. -Ensure any high scoring written content is captured in our Proposal Information Hub for use in future written proposals. -Align the value proposition developed in during the capture phase with the client’s tender requirements and develop a series of compelling themes to be integrated into our written proposals. -Build relationships across our technical practices to secure input and key content for our written proposals. Reinforce the importance of collateral such as capability statements, project case studies, quantifiable value delivered, and client testimonials. -Review client feedback and scores on our written proposal and make recommendations for improvement of future proposals.

What You Bring

-Proven Proposal Management experience the engineering, construction, or professional services sectors. A strong track record of managing and delivering complex, high-value proposals. -An understanding of engineering projects and terminology, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable proposal content. -A collaborative and motivating leadership style with the ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams. -Meticulous attention to detail is essential to ensure compliance and high-quality deliverables. -Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under pressure and with tight deadlines. -A degree or equivalent qualification (relevant technical certifications in business development activity would be desirable). -Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. The ability to craft a clear, compelling, and persuasive narrative. -Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and experience with generative AI tools is a plus.
