The Role

Overview

Assist in traffic and transportation planning, studies, and design for various projects.

Tasks

-Development, analysis and evaluation of traffic improvements -Prepare written planning documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports -Research and interpret transportation data, community statistics and demographics -Working within a team of professionals in developing traffic and transportation planning and engineering solutions for a multitude of transportation projects -Traffic data collection and tabulation

What You Bring

-Experience with AutoCAD a plus -Experience with ArcGIS a plus -Strong computer skills -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills -Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required -Experience with Synchro, Vissim, and/or HCS a plus -0-1 years of professional transportation engineering experience -BS in Civil Engineering -EIT preferred -Ability to think critically -Team oriented with strong capability to work independently -Self-motivated with attention to detail
