The Role
Overview
Assist equipment operators in environmental remediation and construction using light/heavy equipment.

Tasks
-Operates light equipment (forklift, tiller, skid steer, mini-excavator, and water truck). -Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. -Light and heavy equipment operation, -Assist in filling out and completing daily reports. -Assist the lead Equipment Operator to help perform routine construction activities. -This position is designed to train the individual in the various aspects of becoming an Equipment Operator including: -Maintain quality standards on all projects. -Participate in conducting safety loss prevention observations (LPO’s). Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

What You Bring
-Class A CDL License -For Remediation Construction projects, 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificate, TWIC and DOT medical card preferred. -Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. -Gain knowledge of construction service activities and technologies -High school diploma or equivalent. -General knowledge of reading civil plans. -Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. -Soil Composition Testing, Trench Safety.
