Tasks

-Works independently on mid-sized projects/technical assignments supporting operations -Champions processes, procedures and safety standards -Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs -Identifies and develops optimization opportunities using hydraulic modeling software -Performs a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments, requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgement while maintaining customer satisfaction -Works closely with internal partners to scope facilities required for expansion projects -Responds to internal and external inquires for measurement and SCADA data and performs data analysis, providing appropriate reports and charts to display results -Performs hydraulic modeling on natural gas and liquids pipeline systems using both steady state and transient simulations -Interprets internal/external customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies responses -Develops new application tools, facilitates improvements in design modeling philosophies, and provides training and support to enhance the organization’s capabilities as it relates to hydraulic modeling. -Develops and maintains a range of automated and customized reports related to pipeline operations and forecasts -Works closely with pipeline control, operations, and commercial functions to identify hydraulic impacts and help plan outages on the system -Prepares and delivers presentations to individuals

What You Bring

-Preferred: Hydraulic simulation modeling experience using DNV-GL SYNERGI Gas and Schlumberger PIPESIM and OLGA Modeling Software -Preferred: Project Management experience -Preferred: PE license -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills -Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry -Maintains a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements -Preferred: Experience with Excel, VBA, Power BI, Python -Exhibits proficiency in Company processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by organization and governing agencies -Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of safety requirements, produces results and meets goals -Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of pipeline’s operational requirements -Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
