Senior Engineer

Overview

Oversee engineering works, ensure quality/compliance, and manage staff and subcontractors on site.

Tasks

-Ordering and control of materials on site -Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc. -Maintaining the site records as required -Working with subcontractors/general workforce on site -Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards -Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards. -Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings -Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved -Management of Junior Engineers & Subcontractors -Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate

Requirements

-Completed a third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline -Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills -Strong IT Skills -Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme -Ability to work as part of a team -Full driving license -3+ years of Experience in Construction Engineering
