Team Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, operations, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee and implement design/plan production tasks for a team of roadway engineers delivering alternative delivery projects and assisting in design bid build delivery when needed.
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensure accurate forecasting, tracking of expenses, and adherence to financial constraints.
Develop and maintain client, stakeholder, and teaming partner relationships.
Maintain/Develop/Establish relationships with design-build partners including contractors and engineering firms; assist in design-build pursuits including strategic pursuit planning, stakeholder outreach, proposal development, and project management execution.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance program management, processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior program managers and team members, fostering a culture of professional development and knowledge sharing.
Drive the business analysis for the growth of new and existing markets and clients.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and solutions.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong knowledge and experience using Open Roads, Geopak and similar software.
Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
Proven track record of developing a culture of safety and ability to abide by company’s health, and safety policies.
Solid understanding of current and emerging technical trends that affect the professional highway design services business.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft, MS Project or similar).
Proven ability to stay focused under pressure, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated and sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking across a multi-disciplined practice.
8+ years of experience in highway design and plan production in NC with preference to alternative delivery.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
