Senior Design Coordinator

Leads architectural design, documentation, coordination, and client communication for projects.

Tasks

-Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural process -Independently evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents -Work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures -Independently perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected results -Coordinate subconsultant work for alignment with project requirements and Architectural Design -Write specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews

What You Bring

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field -A minimum of 5 years professional or internship experience preparing details, specifications and construction documents -Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process -Willing to travel on semi-regular basis to project sites -Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required -Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) -Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills -Experience in the areas of Data Centers or Mission Critical facilities -Master's degree in Architecture -Must possess credentials to obtain future registration -Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign -Experience with SketchUp and Enscape a plus, but not required -Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
