Tasks

-Guides torch and rod along joint of work pieces to heat to brazing temperature, melt braze alloy, and bond work pieces together. -Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks. -Assists with setting up equipment, selecting torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy based on data charts or work order.

What You Bring

-Basic understanding of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders -May be required to take related training and/or pass skills tests required for this level. -Requires precision control and dexterity. -Able to determine required equipment and settings. -Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
