Tasks

-Producing detailed designs and calculations for highways, drainage, and site infrastructure projects. -Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports. -Developing design drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or InfoDrainage), and Vehicle Tracking. -Delivering design packages and technical documentation for small to medium-sized projects. -Ensuring compliance with relevant design standards, planning policy, and local authority requirements. -Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to deliver coordinated, innovative, and practical design solutions. -Providing input to due diligence, feasibility, and pre-development engineering work. -Managing workloads to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.

What You Bring

-Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. -Ideally 3-6 years' experience in a civil infrastructure design consultancy. -Working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status. -Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage design software (MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage). -Knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination. -Experience preparing and reviewing technical drawings, calculations, and reports. -Familiarity with RIBA work stages or Eurocodes (advantageous). -Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
