Supervises janitorial staff, ensures cleanliness and safety at Amazon facility.

Tasks

-Maintain compliance with OSHA, health, and safety guidelines. -Communicate with facility management regarding cleaning needs and improvements. -Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. -Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner. -Train staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols. -Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed. -Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality control and address any deficiencies. -Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with Amazon’s cleanliness and safety standards.

-Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed. -Experience in an Amazon or large warehouse/distribution center environment. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. -Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. -Requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. -Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. -Previous experience in janitorial supervision, facility maintenance, or a related field. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. -Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices. -Strong leadership and team management skills.
