Tasks

-Assist in the preparation and filing of sales tax and other regulatory reports. -Collaborate with operations and management teams to address financial variances and resolve outstanding receivables. -Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. -Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. -Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and subsidiary ledgers. -Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation. -Support the Divisional Controller with financial analysis, cost tracking, and variance reporting. -Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls. -Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems preferred. -2–4 years of progressive accounting experience. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. -Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines. -Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. -Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. -Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
