The Role

Overview

Install, test, and maintain electrical systems for water sector projects across the South of England.

Tasks

-Identify and resolve issues effectively, maintaining high quality and safety. -Work on multiple projects, occasionally assisting mechanical trades. -Ensure compliance with BS7671, company, and client standards. -Travel to client sites, complete associated paperwork, and follow all OH&S, environmental, and quality standards. -Install, refurbish, test, and sign-off electrical systems on water company sites (both clean and wastewater). -Use drawings, diagrams, and manuals to complete works; build/repair systems in the workshop when required. -Inspect, survey, fault-find, and compile reports for installation/testing.

What You Bring

-Work at heights and in confined spaces, adhering to PPE and hygiene requirements. -Emergency first aid or First Aider (preferable) -Fully qualified electrician (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) (essential) -Confined spaces training (preferable) -2+ years’ related experience post qualification in electrical installation and testing, preferably in the UK water sector -Valid UK driving licence (essential) -All necessary PPE and workwear -City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (advantageous) -Ability to operate in industrial environments with good working practices. -17th / 18th Edition (essential) -ECS Gold card or can easily obtain one -EUSR clean water card (preferable) -Control and automation experience (advantageous)
