Tasks

This position will be working as an Electrical Project Manager within our Critical Services Departments working on a Data Centre projects within London and surrounding areas., you will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager of one of our world-renowned Data Centre clients, carrying out Critical fit out works within the campus. -Develop and maintain close relationships with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sub-contractors, and supply chain. -Proactively implement, manage, and monitor programmes, change process and financial reporting for assigned projects to ensure commercial and relationship risk avoidance and management. -Ensure that all site records are kept up to date in line with company and legislative requirements. -Ensure set-up is linked to close-out in terms of establishing quality processes, problem resolution and snagging with focus on alignment of cost, scope and timescale from project start-up. -Ensure all persons working on site have the correct competence and training for the role they are carrying out -Be aware of and ensure contract terms are understood and adhered to. -Identify and escalate any potential issues. -Identify and act on opportunities to reduce Cost and or add value to the project. -Preparation of weekly site condition & safety reports and acting swiftly on any areas identified requiring attention. -Direct timely, quality and cost efficient set up for all assigned projects, ensuring that meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset and are in accordance with company Best Practice. -Where required, participate and contribute to meetings that are being chaired by others. -Ensure all method statements and risk assessments are robust, up to date, understood and implemented by the project team. -Chair and minute meetings with Client’s, Internal Department’s and Sub-Contractors. -Co-ordinate the works of the site team including sub-contractors/trades and external supply chain. -Ensure the high site standards set out at the start of the project are maintained throughout the lifecycle. -Manage and take an active part in the monthly department project reporting process ensuring the line manager has reliable and accurate information on which to base their upstream reports. Through the monthly reporting process and other feedback, identify and address potential problem areas, ensuring that client reporting is accurate and appropriate.

What You Bring

-Excellent time management and organisational skills -Key skills in project planning and time management and effective communication to manage site-based project personnel. -Proven track record or working for customer facing contractors. -In-depth knowledge and expertise with Electrical Infrastructure and Data Centre Fit out packages. -Key communication skills necessary to maintain and develop relationships. -Good knowledge of IT systems (Planning software, SharePoint, MS Office) -Experienced in running effective and productive meetings with a subcontractor.

Generally, the above hours will be flexible in line with the needs of the business.
