Tasks

-Document and assess trainer and student performance in accordance with established criteria. -Deliver scheduled instructor-led or supported training for Training Devices and Systems, including pre-briefs and debriefs, utilizing interactive whiteboards, computers, and video projector systems. -Assist with authorized and scheduled tours as needed. -Provide classroom and device instruction for areas such as Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Instrument Ground School (IGS), as well as self-paced Computer Aided and Computer Based Training. -Develop and update curriculum, lesson plans, trainee guides, tests, and test materials to reflect best practices and current directives. -Perform administrative duties including record keeping, student progress monitoring, counseling, and training program maintenance. -Work in a collaborative environment with other experienced aviation experts. -Engage with state-of-the-art training technology and curriculum. -Make a meaningful impact by preparing the next generation of Navy aviation professionals. -Conduct and participate in training device inspections, mishap re-creation/testing, and other special projects as required. -Support the introduction of new weapon systems or Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) by assisting with device testing, evaluation, and certification. -Evaluate student training and mission performance and provide constructive feedback. -Maintain and recommend improvements for mission scenarios and training programs.

What You Bring

-Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance. -Must obtain instructor certification in assigned platform(s). -No history of punitive actions resulting in termination of flight status. -U.S. citizenship required. -Minimum of one Fleet tour and 800 flying hours in E-2 aircraft. -Bachelor’s degree required. -Comprehensive understanding of the E-2 mission, crew procedures, air intercept control tactics, and threat/system tactics. -Current or former E-2 NATOPS qualified NFO, or E-2 simulator instructor NFO within the past five years.
