Tasks

-Analyse bat sound data (Anabat Insight/Kaleidoscope). -Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD). -Use GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) for desk studies, site scoping, protected species records, and biodiversity net gain assessments. -Support bid preparation and manage work enquiries under senior guidance. -Author technical ecological reports. -Perform ad hoc tasks as required by process leads. -Work to tight deadlines using approved methodologies. -Liaise daily with UK teams and build strong working relationships. -Collaborate with team members and manage workload independently.

What You Bring

-Degree in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Engineering. -Familiarity with UKHab classification and Defra Metric. -Effective in report writing, presentations, and verbal communication. -Understands time-budget-performance relationship. -Shares knowledge and complies with Health & Safety policies. -Strong data analysis and report writing skills. -3–4 years of experience in ecology projects (UK region preferred). -Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. -Experience in international projects. -Works independently or in multidisciplinary teams. -Proficient in GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS). -Understanding of UK/EU Wildlife Legislation, planning policies, and licensing. -Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills. -Quick learner, adaptable, and organized. -Membership of CIEEM. -Experience with Anabat Insight/Kaleidoscope. -Project management (technical, financial, QA). -Open to feedback, career discussions, and team leadership. -Highly motivated, proactive, and focused on technical excellence.
