Project Architect

Overview

Lead project teams to develop construction documents and coordinate design/construction.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Review and understand project scope and contract for professional services -Create and meet established goals and objectives for the design documentation process -In the absence of Project Manager, lead and preside over team meetings -Review documents with Designer for compliance with design concepts -Monitor progress of shop drawings -Coordinate and assign team tasks and goals with the architectural technical team -Perform the coordination efforts with project designer in translating design into contract documents -Document review for accuracy -Support Project Manager in establishing and maintaining project milestone, deadlines, and delivery dates -Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, which may include -Assist Project Manager in communication with Construction Team throughout construction of project -Development of Contract Documents -Create, organize and coordinate the following: -Communication and exchange of information -Coordinate project team and through collaboration with all disciplines, lead the development of: -Scheduling and coordinating document reproduction -Coordinate communication and documents with clients for the project -Progress meetings

What You Bring

-Ability to create a collaborative team project approach -Must be flexible to adapt to situations and changes -Ability to gather and analyze information and develop solutions -REVIT experience and proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs required -Ability to contribute effectively to a team environment -Licensure Preferred -Five years or more of professional architectural experience -Experience in construction administration, document production and design experience -Accredited degree in Architecture -Understand project manager expectations throughout each phase of the project -Proficient technical skills with ability to apply technical skills to the job effectively -Excellent oral and written communication skills
