Overview

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on waste treatment facilities and equipment.

Tasks

-Performs inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on plant, facilities and equipment. -Coordinates with contractors for onsite projects. -Troubleshoots, provides diagnosis and plans repairs on equipment. -Orders, receives or collects, and stocks parts and other maintenance materials. -Performs general housekeeping and groundskeeping. -Maintains files and logs. -Installs new equipment and fixtures. -Fabricates metal to include: cutting, forming and joining.

What You Bring

-Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or ability to pass course upon hire. -Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail. -A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions. -Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems. Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions. -Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments. -Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
