Tasks

-Conduct labor compliance training classes/seminars for stakeholders, program employees, and contractors -Compile information for any third-party requests for information. -Create and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders and contractors -Monitor certified payroll for both internal self-perform projects and external subcontractors. -Reviews and verifies payroll records, benefit statements, employer training contributions, and apprenticeship paperwork to determine compliance with applicable rules and regulations. -Work with LCP Tracker, and other compliance monitoring software to review and approve certified payroll and payroll documents -Develop risk assessment on the Compliance Programs. -Review all public contracts (and any private that have special requirements) for labor requirements (certified payroll, skilled labor, local hire, diversity, and other such labor related requirements), and then work with the project teams and appropriate departments to ensure appropriate plan in place to monitor and report, as well as to ensure proper submissions to agencies. -Be responsible for labor compliance company-wide. -Participate in third party / Government reviews, audits and inquiries, working in conjunction with the appropriate departments and the Director of Compliance. -Compose letters requesting payments and follow up with third party requestor when sending information. -Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect the SOLV Energy’s policies and procedures. -Perform periodic audits on projects to ensure compliance. -Issues requests for missing and revised documentation and corresponds with the applicable contractor’s staff to ensure compliance. -Ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures

What You Bring

-PC proficiency including word processing and spreadsheet applications -Must have experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing skills -Effective interpersonal skills and professional telephone manner -Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree from a recognized college or university in business or related degree is required. -Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and a strong working knowledge of state labor regulations -Ability to work in a dynamic environment across the SOLV Energy’s organization, providing compliance guidance to a variety of teams and senior management. -Experience implementing procedures and coordinating with other internal and external departments -Ability to work independently, accurately, strategically, resourcefully, yet intuitively know when and how to inform, verify, collaborate, and escalate. -Minimum of three years experience working with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements -Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills
