Tasks

-Utilize innovative technology to maintain daily living documents. -Maintain high levels of efficiency in time management, scheduling, and responsibilities. -Formulate consultative feedback with the Client based on real world conditions in the field. -Must adhere to safety standards and take a proactive role in reducing safety risk. -Provide accurate daily documentation to clients. -Maintain valid Operator Qualifications as required by Client. -As may be required by the client scope of work, walk door to door, meeting with all residential customers. Address any concerns they have before starting construction; take pictures, make detailed notes, and point out to the customer any concrete or paving damage prior to starting to avoid problems later. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve goals. -As may be required by client scope of work, accurately complete all documentation, including, but not limited to OQ list, completion report, as built install and retirement drawings, material list, anode cards, pressure test charts, service data, and service field orders within the allotted time frame. -Develop, coordinate, and enforce client systems to ensure set standards are followed. -Work cohesively with contractors to discuss and resolve work related issues on the jobsite. -Maintain, understand, and adhere to client scope of work. -Attend all required meetings including but not limited to safety, pre-construction, client, inspection, and management. -Oversee all client safety policies and procedures to ensure safe working environments. -Document the progress of each project assigned daily in FieldLogIQ following the entry requirements outlined in the FieldLogIQ Inspector SOP document. Client-specific systems and forms may be required. -Read, understand, and review job site packet drawings for accurate installation. -Obtain crew list and confirm that they are Operator Qualified (OQ) prior to commencement of work and throughout the life cycle of the project. -Visually inspect the welds and fusions on all fittings and joints and verify adherence to all manufacturer and client procedures – documenting in detail work performed by contractor. -Assist the Inspection Manager with the training of incoming inspectors. Revised 01.18.2023 -Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all incidents, near misses, accidents, incidents, or injuries as outlined in the Event Reporting Guidelines. Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate professionalism with excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. -Must be able to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language. -Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision. -Must have ability to sketch construction drawings and/or to use software for construction diagrams (as-builts). -Must be able to read and understand construction prints. -Must be ambulatory to perform moderate physical activity including but not limited to walking, climbing in excavations, frequent bending at knees and waist, and working around uneven surfaces on construction sites. -Hands-on construction experience is desired. -Experience with visual inspection of both steel pipe welds and polyethylene pipe fusions, reading construction prints, and completing as-built drawings is preferred. -Communicate effectively, both written and orally. -5+ years of experience in the natural gas industry is preferred (more experience may be required by specific clients). -Must be able to maintain accurate project records and documentation during construction. -Extensive travel required may be required. -Must be able to perform work in a very loud, active construction environment. -Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. -Hold high levels of accountability with precise attention to detail. -Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a car or truck. -Ability to rapidly establish credibility and relationships with a broad range of individuals. -The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information. -Ability to adapt to different climates, situations, and environments throughout the country in Magnolia River’s different areas of operations. -High School Diploma or GED required -Must be able to perform moderate physical activity including somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily productive/technical nature. -Ability to meet project deadlines.
