Overview

Expedite procurement orders for ADNOC Onshore project ensuring timely delivery

Tasks

-Assistance into the creations of expediting reports in materials management system. -Review and supervise expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for collection within project schedule/purchase order terms. -Notifying Procurement / Supply Chain Lead of any potential schedule slippages. -Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders. -Continuous expediting of purchase orders and relevant procurement activities pertaining to FEED/EPC Contractor. -Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in relevant shared drive / area. -Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly. -Participates into expediting the delivery of procured items, production progress and shipment schedules -Assist to manage the expediting process of FEED/EPC Contractor’s procurement activities -Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system.

What You Bring

-Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting. -Awareness of supplier production schedules -Previous experience in similar roles of expediting within Oil & Gas EPC projects -Qualified to ISCED Level 4/5 (Post-Secondary non-tertiary/Short-Cycle tertiary) -Awareness of ADNOC Group Standards & Procedures -Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical/ Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical. IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including five (5) years (preferred) in GCC Region -Understanding of how terms and conditions of purchase influence delivery requirements -Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills -Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices. -Understands and aware of ADNOC Onshore Standards & Procedures -Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase -Previous use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP. -Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines -Excellent Communication Skills -Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements
