The Scheduling manager is responsible for providing support and guidance to in planning, developing, updating and analysis of the project schedules, from pursuit through commission and turnover to the owner. -Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staff -Provide monthly schedule reports, including progress analysis, earned value tracking, and forecast -Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 -Collaborate with pre-construction, project management, and field operations teams to establish realistic and achievable project timelines -Generate critical path analysis, recovery plans, and "what-if" scenarios to mitigate risks and avoid delays -May be called after hours and on weekends to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite -Develop best practices, standards and procedures -Ensure alignment between cost, schedule, and resource planning efforts -Facilitate pull planning sessions, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates throughout the life cycle of the project -Analyze project plans and specifications to determine appropriate schedule logic, sequencing, and resource requirements -Support project pursuit teams with high-level milestone schedules and pre-construction planning input -Maintain a database of historical schedules to support benchmarking and continuous improvement
-Current driver’s license, required -Proficiency with computer applications and scheduling related tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and etc. -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all level -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer with repetitive movements -Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges are essential for normal conversations, receive ordinary information, and prepare or inspect documents -Proficiency in Primavera P6 at an intermediate to advanced level is required -Knowledge of LEAN construction principles and Last Planner System is preferred -Prove track record performing project duties in both field operations and project engineering -May require travel -Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times -Thorough knowledge and experience in planning and developing schedules for Commercial and Healthcare projects -Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a timely manner to all deadlines and issues -Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers -Proven experience managing and supporting multiple large-scale commercial construction projects concurrently, including project schedules for builds exceeding $150 million in value -Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience with a focus on vertical construction projects -Must be able to use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls -Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization's physical premises -Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, and copiers -Bachelor’s degree required in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling
