Tasks

We’re looking for a Senior Service Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. In this hands-on and customer-facing role, you’ll be responsible for servicing, commissioning, and maintaining gas detection systems across multiple sites. You’ll also act as a technical lead and mentor, supporting other engineers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. -Replace sensors, control panels, and other components when required. -Record site data, attach photographs, and update CRM systems. -Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and carry out effective repairs. -Deliver demonstrations and ensure customers fully understand system operation. -Act as the senior point of contact for other engineers, offering guidance and technical expertise. -Provide cover for colleagues and contribute to the wider team’s success. -Stay up to date with the latest company products, technologies, and policies. -Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers. -Provide technical support and training to clients and site engineers. -Ensure all documentation meets company standards and deadlines. -Actively contribute to process improvement and service quality. -Escalate complex technical or customer issues when needed. -Support and mentor junior engineers, including training and coaching. -Conduct test procedures and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. -Maintain safe working practices at all times. -Commission, service, and maintain gas detection equipment and related systems. -Complete accurate commissioning and servicing reports.
