Tasks

-Ensure effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly. -Lead IT projects, including the selection and deployment of hardware and software, ensuring timely completion within budget. -Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of IT services including help desk, network security, software applications, and hardware/laptop systems. -Establish and maintain IT policies and systems that comply with industry standards and regulations, with an emphasis on data security and intellectual property protection. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and provide technology solutions that enhance productivity and support innovation in hardware development. -Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and products. -Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. -Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT and climate technology, evaluating and recommending tools and technologies that can enhance our hardware development efforts.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. -Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. -5+ years of experience in IT management. -Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity best practices. -Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. -Experience in a technology-driven or hardware manufacturing/development environment. -Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and budget management. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
