Overview

Coordinate bridge design, manage shop drawings, and support construction as Technical Engineer.

Tasks

-Support quality assurance by ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications. -Coordinate with drafting teams to ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings. -Review, check, and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for structural and civil works. -Participate in design review meetings and provide technical feedback to optimize constructability and compliance. -Maintain accurate records of design correspondence, revisions, and drawing approvals. -Prepare technical reports, method statements, and coordination schedules. -Assist in resolving technical queries (RFIs) and ensuring design intent is maintained in the field. -Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings, shop drawings, and site conditions. -Ensure that all drawings align with project specifications, standards (AASHTO, BS, or relevant UAE standards), and client requirements. -Monitor the implementation of design revisions and ensure that all changes are properly documented. -Provide technical assistance to site engineers and supervisors during construction activities. -Collaborate with the design consultants to review and interpret bridge design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated project management abilities -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment -Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site inspections or client meetings -Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks -Familiarity with industrial processes and manufacturing techniques -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written -5 to 10 years of experience in a related technical engineering role -In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations -Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail -Bachelor's degree in Engineering Civil Engineering
