Overview

Provide on‑site technical support, integration, and testing of military communication systems.

Tasks

-Create configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems. -Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation. -Provide on-site technical support for the operation of podded communication systems. -Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures. -Conduct systems and sub-systems testing. -Capture and deploy system images. -Install and configure Windows/Linux servers. -Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents. -Serve as a technical liaison to supported military units/elements. -Maintain virtual environments. -Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear including switches, servers, and firewalls, and troubleshoot network-related problems. -Set up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active Directory.

What You Bring

-Experience with event management systems (e.g. ISE, Splunk, SolarWinds). -4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or other IT-related fields. -Working knowledge of network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS). -Experience in automation, scripting, or development in Python or JavaScript. -High-level understanding of automation and implementation. -Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments is highly desired. -US Citizenship with a minimum of an active Interim Secret clearance, and ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance. -Working knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, LAN, WAN, etc. -Familiarity with Tactical Data Links (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL, etc.). -Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems. -High proficiency in Linux and Windows. -Live field testing experience with military communication systems is highly desired.
