Tasks

The position reports directly to the Operations Manager of the branch. This role is responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to all standard operating procedures related to the systematic control of branch inventory. This includes overseeing the cycle counting process as well as preparing for and executing the annual physical inventory process. -Prepares monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. -Oversees a yearly physical inventory. -Oversees the closing of shop packets received and purging of computer database. -Assists in the movement and reduction of E & O inventory. -Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. -Monitors the data entry of quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database. -Must build quick rapport with employees, customers, supply partners, and key stakeholders. -Troubleshoots quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. -Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. -Maintains the records for the items on shelf-life daily and oversees the notification of appropriate personnel when material has been expired.

What You Bring

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Has the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Able to apply concepts such as discounts, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to everyday work situations.
