  • Championing the Centre of Excellence strategy and ensure alignment across EPCOR.
  • Leading improvements ERP/EPM systems (Oracle and Adaptive Insights), including financial model optimization, automation and process redesign.
  • Delivering training, developing materials, and guiding users through change with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborating with Finance, IT, and business analysts to prototype new tools and applications, and develop new data-driven reports that meet evolving business needs.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
  • Influencing cross-functional teams and driving meaningful change across the organization.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring standardized, best-practice approaches.
  • Providing expert consultation in areas like process mapping, re-engineering, and implementation planning.

We are hiring up to two (2) Full-Time Permanent Centre of Excellence Senior Advisors working out of Edmonton, AB.

  • Strong background in business process design and change management.
  • Deep understanding of database design, analytics, and metric development.
  • To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required.
  • If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational, and/or credit) and professional reference checks is required. Some EPCOR positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate consensus
  • Prior infractions for unsafe driving behaviours will be evaluated and considered for non-selection regardless of current demerits on file.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP (Oracle) and/or EPM (Adaptive Insights).
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • A degree in Business, MIS, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
  • A requirement of working for EPCOR is that you are at least 18 years of age, successfully attained a high school diploma (GED, or equivalent level of secondary education) and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
  • Understanding business processes, business systems, financial management principles and data within Finance to develop innovative solutions that result in strong business performance.
