Overview

Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems in a high‑rise residential building.

Tasks

-Help maintain a safe and clean environment in mechanical areas and common spaces, and assist with vendor coordination as needed. -Assist with maintenance and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. -Support preventive maintenance by performing routine inspections and logging completed tasks accurately. -Respond to work orders and service requests from residents and staff in a timely and professional manner.

What You Bring

-Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods throughout the day. -Technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or building systems preferred. -Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance. -Strong communication and organizational skills. -Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. -Comfortable working in confined spaces, on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and in varying weather conditions. -Availability for on-call emergencies and occasional weekends or evenings. -5+ years of experience as a building engineer, maintenance technician, or facilities professional, ideally in a high-rise setting. -Ability to visually inspect equipment, read gauges and manuals, and perform detailed maintenance work. -Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching overhead. -Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. -Outlook MS Word Excel Adobe Acrobat Other -MAS 90 Internet Access Power Point -Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions. -Must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations, including evacuations, system shutdowns, or alarm events. -Working knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), fire/life safety equipment, and energy management systems. -Occasional use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, hard hats, respirators, and hearing protection.
