Building Management Systems Engineer

Overview

Lead BMS project delivery for data centre design, commissioning and handover.

Tasks

-Act as the technical point of contact for clients and consultants. Attend project meetings, provide regular updates and resolve any technical queries throughout the project lifecycle. -Manage project timelines, resources and subcontractors to ensure delivery milestones are met. Work closely with internal project managers and site teams to maintain progress and quality. -Interpret and refine BMS designs, ensuring they meet client specifications and project requirements. Coordinate with in-house and external design teams as needed. -Oversee system commissioning, including point-to-point checks, software upload, graphics configuration and final handover. -Prepare and review technical documentation, O&M manuals and commissioning reports. -Lead the end-to-end delivery of BMS projects within live or new-build data centre environments, from initial design review through to commissioning and handover.
