Assist in preparing structural drawings, calculations, and models.
Conduct research on codes, standards, and building materials.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams on structural solutions.
Support analysis of structural loads, materials, and system performance.
Participate in site visits and inspections as assigned.
Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues, including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic drafting/modeling tools.
Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers.
Ability to learn industry software and practices quickly.
Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in taking on new responsibilities and adjusting to evolving challenges.
Ability to work effectively within a project team.
Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in structural engineering.
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
Involvement in ASCE or other engineering organizations.
Awareness of structural modeling tools (Revit, SAP2000, ETABS).
Ability to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Good communication and organizational skills .
Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and through written communication.
Familiarity with construction materials such as steel, concrete, and timber.
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Structural or Civil Engineering or related program.
Strong academic performance in structural coursework .
Familiarity with structural modeling or analysis software.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Basic proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.
Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to 25 lbs.).
