Tasks

-Manage user accounts, including password resets and permissions adjustments. -Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software. -Perform hardware setup, maintenance, and repairs, including desktops, laptops, printers, keyboards, and other peripheral devices. -Liaise with third-party IT consultants and collaborate with staff to identify and implement improvements. -Provide first-level IT support for Microsoft Windows-based systems, including troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues. -Install, configure, and maintain software applications as required by users. -Provide timely and effective communication to users regarding issue resolution and service updates. -Track and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring that all assets are properly logged and accounted for.

What You Bring

Alliance Consulting Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our corporate Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, troubleshooting and resolving computer issues, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Microsoft Windows platforms, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. This position is full-time and requires authorization to work in the United States. Please note: This position may require occasional lifting and transporting of computer equipment. -5 years of experience in an IT / Desktop Support role -Experience with Duo Security application for multi-factor authentication -Familiarity with hardware maintenance, including setup and repairs of PCs and peripherals -Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques -Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, OR equivalent work experience -Ability to reset passwords and manage user accounts in a networked environment -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach -Basic experience with software installation, configuration, and updates -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing equipment inventory -Fundamental knowledge of networking principles and foundations
