Tasks

You'll be a coach, advisor, and influencer, helping to embed a strong Quality culture across our diverse teams. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and making a tangible difference, this is the role for you. -Collaborate with local teams to develop and track Quality Improvement Plans. -Champion robust Quality Assurance and Control across the business. -Drive quality culture and continuous improvement in everything we design, manufacture, supply, and operate. -Ensure compliance with industry standards for all products and services. -Develop and maintain Quality Standards and Procedures. -Work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to improve supplier quality. -Enhance and evolve our Quality Management System.

What You Bring

Expect to travel 30-50% of your time, both domestically and internationally-primarily to Houston, Texas, and also to sites in Scotland, Alaska, Australia, Brazil, Norway, UAE, and Singapore. Trips may last 1-2 weeks, so flexibility is essential. UTEC Geo-Services is seeking an experienced Quality Professional to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This newly created Quality Lead role is ideal for someone with several years of QA/QC experience in electronics, manufacturing, or offshore industries, who is ready to take the next step into a junior leadership position. You'll need relevant experience in some of these areas, and a curious, self-starting mindset to learn and adapt across others. -International experience is a plus. -Hold a valid passport with no restrictions on travel to the USA. -Strong report writing skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365. -Background in engineering, electronics, manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication. -Experience writing ITPs, MRBs, and other technical documentation. -Confident and persuasive, able to build relationships and influence change at all levels. -Be resident in the UK with the right to work. -Technically sound in manufacturing and supply chain quality (e.g., ITPs, MRBs, supplier vetting, auditing). -Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt within 24 months preferred). -Level 4 Quality Assurance qualification with 3+ years QA experience, or
