Tasks

-Serve as a senior point of contact for escalated technical or operational issues impacting multiple service areas. -Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations. -Identification of gaps & inefficiencies within current processes, and implementation of new methods to improve current operations. -Collaborating with department directors & managers to ensure engineering standards, regulatory requirements and QA/QC processes are consistent & compliant to utility client requirements. -Represent the company in client meetings and project kickoffs, providing technical leadership and alignment. -Support proposal development, cost reviews, and project scoping for complex long-term utility projects -Analyzing KPIs and financial reports to identify team trends and areas for improvement to for client offerings -Driving innovation & quality of team performance to ensure team can stay ahead of other industry competitors

b19 is partnering with an established power company to find a Director of Power Delivery Engineering ideally coming from an electrical utility consulting background. This position will play a critical role in overseeing multiple engineering departments & driving efficiency & quality processes, to support the team's continued expansion plans. -Proven track record in professional consulting services across multiple utility clients and projects, with client representation record at executive level -Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship -Financial & divisional performance track record, running P&L, budgeting & forecasting, EBITDA) -Professional Engineer (PE) License -Ability to travel to various client sites as required -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering -15+ years of engineering & leadership experience in technical high voltage utility engineering, across substation/transmission/distribution engineering
