Overview

Lead delivery of civil gallery works for Sizewell C nuclear project.

Tasks

-Coordinate quality assurance efforts and manage the quality inspection team. -Maintain construction schedules and ensure all project deliverables are met. -Manage interfaces with other project teams to ensure smooth integration across the MCW programme. -Manage subcontractor selection, tendering, and contract negotiations for pre-cast or prefab works. -Oversee safe and timely delivery of activities, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met. -Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop safe, sustainable, and buildable gallery designs. -Take ownership of the galleries package from planning through to commissioning. -Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and manage project finances throughout delivery. -Identify and resolve risks and issues, escalating when necessary.

What You Bring

-Experience working within Joint Ventures or Alliances. -Experience managing parts of large civil engineering projects. -HG galleries (required to begin the HR building and enable HLC's position 2) -HCT and HPL galleries (critical for starting the HCA building) on the east side of the plant -Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. -Proven experience leading project teams on large-scale civil engineering projects. -Experience in nuclear or other heavily regulated environments. -Membership of APM, PMI, or similar project management bodies. -SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safety certification. -Familiarity with NEC4 SC and ECC contracts. -UK major construction experience and relevant training. -CSCS PQP Card and/or CSCS Black Managers Card.
