-Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire commercial solar sales process from lead generation to contract execution and project handoff. -Market Leadership: Source and develop new business through networking, partnerships, and attendance at industry events. -Consultative Approach: Conduct detailed energy usage analyses and financial ROI modeling to build compelling proposals. -Proposal Development: Use advanced tools (Energy Toolbase, Aurora, Helioscope, or Solargraf) to create accurate, data-driven designs and proposals.

What You Bring
We’re expanding our commercial division and seeking an experienced, results-driven Commercial Solar Consultant to drive growth in Illinois’ thriving renewable energy market. If you’re motivated by uncapped earnings, thrive in high-performance environments, and have a proven record of closing large-scale solar deals — this is the opportunity for you. -3+ years of experience in commercial (B2B) solar sales or project development -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field -Proficiency in Energy Toolbase for financial modeling -Demonstrated ability to self-source and develop commercial leads -Financing Expertise: Structure and close deals across a range of financing options (cash purchase, loans, leases, and PPAs). -Strong understanding of solar financing structures (cash, loans, TPO/PPA/leases) -NABCEP PV Technical Sales Professional Certification -Travel: Frequent in-state travel to meet with C-suite executives, facility managers, and property owners; occasional regional travel may be required. -Skilled in Aurora, Helioscope, or Solargraf for system design -Existing C&I network in Illinois or the broader Midwest -Proven track record of closing 1MW+ of commercial solar capacity
