Plant Manager

Tasks

-Perform and oversee hands-on maintenance and repair of plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations -Establish and manage work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals -Lead and motivate plant personnel to meet daily production expectations while maintaining a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment -Utilize Microsoft Excel to track production metrics, analyze performance data, and support operational reporting -Participate in the procurement of raw materials, supplies, and other production necessities -Promote and enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance across all departments -Plan and optimize equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and interpret spreadsheets, charts, and formulas -Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures -Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set clear expectations, and hold employees accountable for daily performance -Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience as a Plant Manager in a similar industry (or equivalent combination of education and experience) -Apply knowledge of construction products and basic electronics, including programmable controllers -Ability to analyze and discuss production reports and P&L statements -Experience in purchasing is preferred -Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment -Proven ability to train and develop employees effectively
