The Role

Overview

Perform ICP and analytical chemistry testing of mineral samples in a warehouse lab.

Tasks

-Handle reagent preparation, waste management, and equipment maintenance. -Perform and interpret ICP analyses under supervision. -Maintain laboratory records, data logs, and quality control documentation. -Follow safety and environmental protocols. -Prepare samples and standards for analysis. -Set up and calibrate ICP and other laboratory instruments. -Assist with future lab construction design and layout.

What You Bring

-Must be able to wear PPE and handle acids and bases safely. -Experience with ICP-OES preferred. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Proficiency in ICP, XRF, and analytical chemistry. -Knowledge of minerals, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS. -Knowledge of sample digestion and trace-metal analysis. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Experience in wet chemistry, titration, and biology. -Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
