Tasks
-Conduct contract negotiations and participate in professional organizations, advertising, and conferences -Develop strategies for production of submittals and assign/schedule resources as necessary for completion -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals -Support growth and development of the municipal and/or DOT markets by creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations -Manage/assist in market research as necessary -Identify, research, and qualify potential leads -Maintain business development SOPs, guidelines, strategies, etc., for pursuit and processing of opportunities -Oversee all client satisfaction activities -Engage in industry-related events and associations to stay aware of new industry trends and developments -Support and implement opportunity pursuit/win strategies

What You Bring
-Minimum five years of experience working in the civil engineering consulting industry -Professional Engineer (PE) License in South Carolina -Minimum five years of experience managing projects and client relationships -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering -Understand RFQ/RFP/RFI criteria and decision/selection processes -Experience and industry-specific knowledge in proposal development and coordination of proposals & presentations while pursuing new business
