Overview

Procure goods/services, manage suppliers and negotiate contracts for an electrical business

Tasks

-Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure the best possible outcomes (many systems and agreements are already in place, but ongoing management is key). -Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with our business objectives. -Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance within our procurement system. -Collaborate across teams working closely with finance, logistics, and product departments to ensure smooth procurement operations. -Manage supplier relationships identifying, evaluating, and maintaining trusted partnerships. -Ensure compliance with company policies and all legal regulations.

What You Bring

-Strong negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills. -Previous experience as a Buyer ideally within an electrical business. -Based in Whiteley, with some days required at Lee-on-the-Solent -A proactive approach to maintaining supplier relationships and internal systems. -Solar or renewable energy knowledge would be a great bonus.
