Tasks

-Participate in investigating, analyzing, and solving power quality related problems at customer locations and provide recommendations to mitigate any challenges -Assist with field support of inspection & condition assessment for Transmission & Distribution assets. -Assist in trending equipment, evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria while recommending equipment maintenance or replacement strategies. -Aid in interpreting data, correlating data, finding trends & patterns to gain data driven insights and actionable results to determine the direction and make decisions that will optimize reliability, cost, and customer satisfaction. -Build creative visualizations that tell a story and effectively communicate detailed insights & results to both technical and non-technical audiences. -Prototype, test, and deploy advanced analytics using predictive modeling, machine learning, and other advanced techniques to move towards more proactive ways of handling asset management. -Assist with improving Maintenance Optimization and Asset Management Programs for the District¿s transmission, distribution, and substation systems to ensure an economical and reliable energy source for the OPPD¿s customers.

-Enrolled in a 4-year Bachelors of Science in a Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics program -Must have the ability to: prioritize and work on multiple assignments at one time; work under stressful situations; operate a computer and other office equipment; sit at a desk for more than one hour at a time; move about the Company and interact with all levels of the Company. -Professional, responsible, self-motivated, great communication and team player skills -High Analytical and Problem Solving Skills, Attention to Detail, Good Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) -Good learner and curious about the utilities industry, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service and contributes towards growing and improving the business
