The Role
Overview
Operate forklift, handle, inspect, and ship materials in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Visually inspect for damaged material. -Receive P.O’s in system. Separate AML material from non-AML. (Kanban) -Safely and efficiently deliver materials as needed to storeroom locations, or POU locations. -Pull parts from Storeroom if needed in Service Center packing. Ensure packaging is to standard to prevent loss or damage to product. -Flex into other departments as needed to ensure customer and Eaton expectations are met. -Process internal Kanban cards. Assist in the maintenance of the Kanban system. -Unload trucks and check freight bills accordingly. Verify material against packing list. -Sort and disperse return material. Maintain all documentation accordingly. -Notify internal customers of receipts / product marked to their attention. Maintain working relationship with internal customers.

What You Bring
-Ability to use handheld scanners to track inventory in Shipping & Receiving -No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 - mile radius of Fayetteville, NC will be considered. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. -A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -Experience with forklift operation in either a standup or sit down capacity -Ability to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure parts and components are delivered on time and meet quality specifications. -Ability to work with programs like AS400, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Vista -Experience in material handling in a manufacturing setting -Ability to use electrical schematics and blueprints to identify parts and components needed
